KKR use RTM to retain Chawla for Rs. 4.2 crore

Rajasthan and Chennai take the price beyond the Rs. 2 crore mark and soon Mumbai enter the fray to take it past Rs. 3 crore.

There is a huge demand for Chawla, who hasn't played international cricket for a few years now, as the price crosses Rs. 4 crore.

It is Chennai, who bag Chawla for Rs. 4.2 crore. KKR again engaged in a long discussion over whether to use the RTM option.

And KKR decide to use the RTM option which means they retain Chawla for 4.2 crore

Meanwhile, South Africa's Imran Tahir is sold at his base price of Rs. 1 crore to Chennai Super Kings.
