India's mixed doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and V Diju lost 21-15, 21-15 to South Korea's Lee-Ha. With this loss they are out of the Olympics.

But Jwala still has a chance at Olympic glory as she has a women's doubles match with Ashwini Ponnappa later in the night.
