Grappler Amit Kumar is into the quarter-finals.

He defeated Hassan Sabzali Rahimi of Iran 2-1.

Both wrestlers had a point each at the end of the bout, but the rule states that the wrestler who wins the last point, wins the bout.

That's how Amit scraped through.

Next up is Narsingh Yadav vs Matthew Gentry (Canada) in the Men's 74 kg category.
