Ok...systems all set...ready to roll... The clock is ticking...and the hearts are beating!!!

7.30 pm and I'm ready to gO. it's BIAN here for Rediff guys. The stage is set..there are lights flashing in all directions but the action is yet to begin! Today is just another day but for alot of Indian artists old and new this could be a chance of a lifetime, a chance to make it big, I guess the audience aren't the only ones sweating it out! Was here yesterday for the rehersals people! You should have seen it, almost the real thing...right before our eyes . tHE RICH..THE FAMOUS..THE NOT SO FAMOUS..THEY WERE ALL HERE. The crowds begun to move in ..eyes fixed on the VIP box where all the who's who will be sitting. But for us the show started a while back when there I sttod just being my snoopy old self watching out for NEWS, NEWS AND MORE NEWS , WhEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE THEY WERE, every rock fans dream come true, every moment an experience...LED ZEPPLIN LIVE ON STAGE!!! Rehearsing they were. Lonely town was the number, Jimmy Page... all there along with Remo accompanying them as for ROBERT PLANT what can I say guys?? AWESOME!!!! Believe me you should have been me!!

Hi people, Savera here. I've just been loafing around outside and guess what, the atmosphere's still gotta build up. The crowd's as silent as the grave, but the celebs are finally beginning to trickle in. All of them are wearing the red ribbions in support of AIDS awareness...

Lot's of hooting, guys! Just excuse me for a minute as I go out to see what's happenings... Whoops, just a misunderstanding out there folks. I think junta is thorougly bored and are willing to do anything for a little bit of excitement. What actually happening out there is the mike testing and testing the lights for the Channel [V] cameras. And there's till cheering. Anything to liven up the proceedings. I guess. Jules Fuller is on stage now, as a precurtain raiser. He taking the crowds though their motions - the cheering and the clapping and the yelling. And, boy, are our lads responding.

It's past eight, and our lads in the audience are really going wild. The show's not started yet, so they are making their protests felt loud and clear by yelling MTV and start the f***ing show now. The cameras,which have nothing much to do for the moment, are merely spanning the VIP enclosure.

This is beginning to look like a repeat of yesterday, folks. They held the Full Dress Rehearsals was on yesterday. Or, maybe, one could say chaos was on yesterday. Meanwhile guys, Sameera of The Rewind is here. Very much into AIDS prevention and all that. She's looking stunning in a shimmering purple lame. She is being trained at the moment to take over from Sophiya and will based in Hong Kong. Sophiya herself will be joining us guys here in good old Bombay.. or should I make that Mumbai.

Jasmeet's just walked in with a rather depressing report. Apparently, most of the presenters have not even come in yet. And that what's causing all the hungama and the pro MTV chant at this 'gala' Channel V awards.

Hey guys, this is Shaheen checking in with you. With the show almost an hour and a half delayed, the natives are truly getting restless. Things have quieted down now because I think they're just too tired or irritated to yell. Apparently a couple of the presenters haven't made an appearance yet. But if only they'd seen what we saw earlier this evening... Page and Plant were here and they were absolutely electrifying (no pun intended). They played Rock n' Roll with Remo joining them on. The few people milling around stopped doing everything, and suddenly the chaos abated as everyone made way for the two rock legends. But now, they're just going to have to wait around for what we already saw..

The shit's gonna hit the roof ?? I'm sure it already has guys! IT'S Bian in the house and If you wanna know what's happenning here's the lowdown...NOTHING! ZILCH...In fact For the past half an hour besides celebs cruising down the aisle aiming quick coy glances at our cameras Channel V has been playing DIRE STRAITS....COULD THAT BE A MESSAGE THEY'RE SENDING ACROSS???you tell me! But hey! They promise to start in just a few minutes....I'll be BACK THEN!

Jules Fuller came on a couple of minutes ago, trying to placate the audience. " The show was delayed because the presenters got stuck in traffic, and we had some gremlins in the wires, which is some four hundred million feet arouund the stadium." Looks like the evil Dr. M of the channel V promos has made good on his promise to destroy the show...

Fire works... in steps the dancers...aHMED kHAN..AND choreographers..SILKEN SHIRTS COMPLETE WITH frills!

Jaaved's managing to whip up the enthu though, for the first award of the evening - the best debut award to be presented by the dynamic Sunjay Dutt. Lucky Ali one of nominess is getting the biggest applause withe the crowd chanting his name while Sunjy looks totally confised . And the winnder is LUCKY ALI. The crowd's gone beserk.
