Libido: Alcohol as mentioned by Shakespeare in Macbeth it provokes the desire but takes away the performance is largely true. A little alcohol can help an individual to allay his anxiety and fear of insecurity. Thus he may be able to perform with little better assertion and therefore more successfully. But a little overdose and it can prevent erection. It can damage the liver and can lead to irreversible changes of the brain and the nerves. SOmetimes it helps but largely it harms.

Sambhog: My most interesting case was a couple married for 21 years and the marriage was not consumated. Several psychiatrists, physicians handled this client in India and abroad but it seemed nothing worked. After my routine history taking I asked categorically about desire, erection,intromission and orgasm. He reported enough desire, adequate quality of erection but was unable to penetrate and the penis would remain stiff. I asked them about the position, the question which is normally not asked by the sex therapist, neither is it included in the history taking. Surprisingly he was performing by keeping his legs outside hers. The treatment included just proper positioning!

Mog: Elongation of the penis??!!! You can't elongate your nose or ear and so it is true with the penis. The Kamasutra is written in Sanskrit and no physician has ever translated or commented on it. I am in the process of completing it. I have yet to come across any such reference. Watch out for my new book -- Kamasutra: Ancient yet Modern!
