 Built by Vulcan Foundry, UK in 1955, this loco hauled the last broad gauge steam train on the Indian Railways between Ferozepur and Jallandhar in 1995. Christened Sher-e-Punjab, it was initially allotted to Southern Railway, it was transferred to the Northern Railway and finally retired from the Ludhiana shed. |
