Built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon company in 1914. This first and third coach meter gauge coach was used on the Nilgiri Hill Railway. The coach is provided with a double pinion on one axle which matches with the rack placed on the centre of the track. The coach has canvas curtains for protection against sun and rain.
