Fast Facts How to Reach The nearest railhead is at Kathgodam 84 kms away. There is a daily overnight train from New Delhi to Kathgodam. The Shatabdi Express operates between New Delhi and Kathgodam only during the summer months of April May and June, on each weekends. The most convenient way to reach Ranikhet is by road. There are regular buses from New Delhi to Ranikhet and one can take either deluxe or ordinary buses from the ISBT bus terminal in Delhi. However for an AC bus one has to take the bus to Nainital. There are no AC buses to Ranikhet. Nainital is 60 km away from Ranikhet and frequent buses connect the two towns. The AC one way bus fare is Rs 250 and the ordinary bus fare is Rs 150.
