Suresh Kalmadi, Indian Olympic Association president and chairman of the organising committee of the Commonwealth Youth Games Pune 2008 and Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010, officially invited International Olympic Committee president Dr Jacques Rogge to the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Youth Games Pune 2008, when he met with him during the General Assembly meeting of the Association of National Olympics Committee (ANOC) in Beijing. .
