Former India cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin and his wife, Sangeeta, were among the many Indian fans at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday. They visited Vijay Mallya's Force India paddock and met with the Formula One team.
Force India achieved its first double finish of the season at the race. Giancarlo Fisichella drove a strong race to finish a fighting 12th while Adrian Sutil brought the second VJM01 home in 19th place after a collision on the first lap dropped him a lap behind the leaders. The German nevertheless put in a measured and consistent drive to secure his first finish of the year.
