Indian golfers failed to make any major headway in the world rankings as forgettable outings put paid to their aspirations of climbing higher in the charts.
Asian Order of Merit leader Jeev Milkha Singh and compatriot Arjun Atwal missed the cut in Colorado, which resulted in their rankings suffering.
Jeev fell three spots to 144th while Atwal went down one notch to 195.
Swedish golfer of Indian origin Daniel Chopra managed to make the cut in the event but finished way down the leaderboard and saw him falling six spots to 193rd place.
However, young prodigy Shiv Kapur was the biggest loser as his failure to make the weekend at the KLM Open in the Netherlands saw his ranking take a nosedive from 175th to 189th.
Jyoti Randhawa took the week off and was the only Indian star to resist the slide as he climbed three spots to 161st.
Going into the final major of the year, the USPGA Championship in Illinois, Tiger Woods leads the field as the number one golfer in the world followed by the left-handed Phil Mickelson. Jim Furyk gained one spot to number three at the expense of Fiji's Vijay Singh.
