Samresh Jung of CISF won gold in the 10 m Air pistol event in Men's category of the 49th National Shooting Championship being held at the Central University Shooting Range in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Samresh, who scored the maximum points in the qualification round itself, completed all his round with 9 and 10 points to log 681 and win the yellow medal.
Closely following him was Vivek Singh of Indian Airlines with 678.5 points whose aim and marksmanship was accurate but had lesser tally in the qualification round.
Satendra of Indian Navy finished third two points behind with 676.3 to take a bronze.
