Sania Mirza brushed aside a spirited challenge from Magda Mihalachel of Romania to reach the final in the US $25,000 ITF women's tournament in Nigeria.
The Indian ace was made to sweat in the first set by her opponent but stayed cool to take the tie 7-6(7/2), 6-2.
Sania and Sherry Stevens of New Zealand also entered the doubles final, defeating Matei (Romania) and Velasco-Andrau (Spain) 6-4, 6-4 late Thursday night.
