Murray didn't disappoint the celebrity pair, winning in straight sets.

Some fans of the singer argue he is the biggest ever celebrity to have graced the All England Club.

American singer Grace Jones watches from Centre Court the quarter-final match between compatriot Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka of Belarus at the Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Jones was rooting for the younger of the Williams' sisters and she wasn't disappointed.

Former England football international Bobby Charlton sits in Centre Court for the match between Roger Federer of Switzerland and Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany at the Wimbledon.

Charlton was a member of the England team that won the FIFA World Cup in 1966.

He also played a staring role in Manchester United's unforgettable European Cup win in 1968 at Wembley, scoring two goals in the 4-1 win over Benfica.

She is no stranger to the Centre Court at the All England Club.

But for a change Martina Navratilova is just being a spectator, watching the match between the American defending champion Venus Williams and Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain.

Yet another return as a player cannot be ruled out in the case of someone who has nine singles titles to her credit.
