Two members of the FIFA executive committee linked to allegations of vote-selling for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosting decision have been provisionally suspended, football's governing body announced on Wednesday.

Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general, told a news conference said that Oceania representative Reynald Tamarii and African executive committee member Amos Adamu had been suspended.

Claudio Sulser, chairman of the FIFA ethics committee which is investigating the allegations that Tamarii and Adamu were prepared to sell their votes for the December 2 election, added that two national bodies were also being investigated over collusion.
