Defending champions Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy have been seeded third for the men's doubles at the French Open.

They open their campaign against Swede Johan Brunstrom and Jean-Julien Rojer of the Netherlands.

Mahesh Bhupathi and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi are seeded fifth and pitted against Jurgen Melzer of Austria and Philipp Petzschner of Germany in their opening match.

Another up and coming pair, Indian Davis Cupper Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi will take on Italian Fabio Fognini and American Michael Russell.

Bopanna and Qureshi finished runners-up at the ATP Nice event last week in the run-up to the clay court Grand Slam.
