Serie A: Inter surge four clear as Milan lose

March 25, 2010 09:19 IST

Inter Milan recovered from a sticky patch to go four points clear at the top of Serie A after Samuel Eto'o's superb double set up a 3-0 home win over bottom side Livorno on Wednesday.

Second-placed AC Milan lost 1-0 at Parma to a late Valeri Bojinov goal, damaging their title hopes with eight games left.

AS Roma, who are level with Milan and hosts Inter on Saturday, outgunned Bologna 2-0 away thanks to second-half goals from John Arne Riise and Julio Baptista.

Palermo were alone in the fourth Champions League qualifying spot after a 2-2 draw at Genoa and Sampdoria's 2-1 loss at Bari.
