Karun ChandhokIndia's Karun Chandhok will race for Hispania Racing Team (HRT) in Formula One this season, the new Spanish-based team said on Thursday.

Chandhok will partner Brazilian rookie Bruno Senna at the team, who have changed their name from Campos Meta, when the season starts in Bahrain next week.

Bruno is the nephew of three-time F1 driver's champion Ayrton Senna.

"I'm pleased to announce our official car livery today," team principal Colin Kolles told reporters in Murcia, Spain.

"We also complete the driver's team line-up with the Indian Karun Chandhok at the wheel of the car for our first
ever season," Kolles added.

Chandhok thereby becomes the second Indian to race in Formula One after Narain Karthikeyan, who raced for Jordan in the 2005 season before being Williams' test driver in the following two seasons.

He won two races in the GP 2 series in the last three years.
