India's [ Images ] Rohan Bopanna [ Images ] and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi [ Images ] stormed into the quarter-finals of the doubles competition of the Wimbledon [ Images ] with an impressive straight set victory over Lukas Lacko of Slovakia and Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine in London [ Images ] on Monday.
Bopanna and Qureshi beat Lacko and Stakhovsky 7-5, 7-6(7-4), 6-2 in a third round match.
Indian ace Leander Paes [ Images ] and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy [ Images ] had crashed out of the doubles event in the second round while Somdev Devvarman [ Images ] and Treat Conrad Huey of Philippines had lost in the opening round to Bopanna and Qureshi.
Another Indian Mahesh Bhupathi [ Images ] and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi [ Images ], seeded fourth, are still in the fray and they play Robert Lindstedt [ Images ] and Horia Tecau in the pre-quarterfinals.
