Mumbai boy Keegan Pereira to play for Canada in hockey WC

Mumbai [ Images ] boy Keegan Pereira, who studied in a school in the northern suburb of Bandra before migrating to Canada [ Images ] with his parents, will represent his adopted country in the Hero Honda [ Images ] FIH World Cup Hockey [ Images ] tournament, commencing in Delhi [ Images ] later this month.

Keegan, 18, is the son of former Mahindra and Mumbai hockey left-winger Reginald (Reggie) Pereira, now settled in Scarborough, Ontario.

Keegan, who studied in St Stanislaus school, Bandra, in his formative years, has already represented Canada in five hockey internationals as a forward.
