Shillong Lajong beat JCT 3-2 via the sudden death to win the Nike-Manchester United Premier Cup (under-15) India-leg football final at the Duler ground, Mapuca, in Panaji on Wednesday.
In a thrilling encounter, both teams were locked goalless at the end of extra time.
However, there was a lot more action as the game progressed, as both teams found the net in the tie-breaker.
Jacob Lalrawngbawla and Banshan Nongohkr scored for Lajong, while Lavedeep Singh and Lajan put JCT on the scoresheet.
But Lajong found the winner in sudden death when skipper Kharumnuid found the back of the net, to give them a superb victory.
Earlier in the semi-finals, JCT beat Kalyani 2-0 after Pavan Kumar and Jatinder Singh found the mark.
In the other semi-final, Shaiborlang Charpan helped Shillong Lajong to a narrow 1-0 victory over Kalyani.
