Defending champs Paes-Dlouhy seeded third at US Open

leander paes and lukas dlouhyDefending champions Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy have been seeded third at the men's doubles event of the US Open and the Indo-Czech pair will open its campaign against Czech-Slovakia combo of Martin Damm and Filip Polasek.

Mahesh Bhupathi and his Belarusian partner Max Mirnyi are seeded fourth and will take on French pair of Arnaud Clement and Nicolas Mahut in their first round match.

In-form Indo-Pak pair of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi are seeded 16th and have Americans Brian Battistone and Ryler De Heart as their opening round opponents.

India's ace women's player Sania Mirza, who entered the singles event as a qualifier, has paired up with Russian Vera Dushevina.

The duo have been drawn against 11th seeded Alisa Kleybanova and Ekaterina Makarova of Russia.
