Kapur ends tied 29th in Czech Open

August 22, 2010 23:33 IST

Indian golfer Shiv Kapur turned in his worst card of the week - a five-over 77 - to sign off tied 29th at the Czech Open in Celadna, Czech Republic.

Kapur ended his campaign with a total of even-par 288 after a disastrous final day, on which he stumbled to four bogeys and a double bogey against just a lone birdie.

That it was not to be his day became quite apparent to the Delhi-golfer at the start itself when he dropped two shots on the very first hole.

It became worse as Kapur proceeded further, stumbling to bogeys on the third and sixth holes to make the turn four-over.

The back-nine was only slightly better as he had a birdie to show on the 16th, which was sandwiched between the bogeys on the 12th and 17th holes on a rather disappointing day.
