World rally champion Sebastien Loeb will not enter the season's final Formula One Grand Prix because the International Automobile Federation did not grant him the super licence he would have needed.
"I have no regrets because I had no ambition," the Frenchman, who had planned to enter the Nov. 1 race in Abu Dhabi for Toro Rosso, said on his website (www.sebastienloeb.com) on Wednesday.
"My only regret is that it would have been fun to do it."
Citroen driver Loeb will chase a sixth world rally title in the season's final event, this weekend's Rally of Britain, which he will start one point behind Ford driver and championship leader Mikko Hirvonen of Finland.
