The Queen's Baton Relay for 2010 Commonwealth Games would pass through Kurukshetra, Rohtak and Hisar in Haryana between September 26 and September 30 before reaching its final destination Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.

The national capital will host the quadrennial sporting extravaganza from October 3-14 and the inaugural ceremony is scheduled to be staged at the JL Nehru Stadium.

"It (the QBR) would be launched in Buckingham Palace, London, by the Queen on October 29 and after travelling across the participating countries, it would enter India on June 25 through the Wagah Border," Haryana chief secretary Dharam Vir said on Monday.

"Thereafter it would travel the length and breadth of the country and finally enter Haryana on September 26 before heading to Delhi on October 1, 2010," he said in a statement.
