Marko Pantelic struck a hat-trick to help Ajax Amsterdam thrash Vitesse Arnhem 5-1 in the Dutch league on Sunday, while Feyenoord also enjoyed a good away win, 2-0 at ADO Den Haag.
Dalibor Stevanovic put Vitesse ahead from close range in the fourth minute before Pantelic struck twice within four minutes to turn the tide for Ajax in the first half.
Serb striker Pantelic added his third just after the interval before Kennedy Bakircioglu and Ismail Aissati completed the rout.
Ron Vlaar gave Feyenoord the lead midway through the first half of their game against Den Haag with a powerful header and Andwele Slory put the ball in to an empty net for the second in stoppage time.
Twente Enschede are top with 41 points after 15 matches following a 3-1 win at Willem II Tilburg on Saturday. PSV Eindhoven are two points behind after beating Sparta Rotterdam 3-2 on Friday.
Ajax remain third with 35 points, while Feyenoord are fourth with 28.
