Mahesh Gawli and Samir Naik, who have been advised rest for a month by their team doctor, have been declared fit and can resume training.
Dempo Sports Club secretary-cum-coach Armando Colaco has written to the All India Football Federation informing that Dr Mahendra Kudchadkar, the club's doctor, has certified the duo fit.
"They can now restart regular training with the team," Armando informed AIFF general secretary Alberto Coalco in a letter on Tuesday, backing his claims with fitness certificates from the doctor.
Armando asked the AIFF whether the two players can join the ongoing national camp in Goa, which concluded on Saturday.
But with the AIFF placing the players under indefinite suspension, it is unlikely they will be allowed to attend the remainder of the camp.
The AIFF will take a decision on the two players as well as Dempo Sports Club before the Federation Cup kicks-off later this month.
