Already assured of a qurter-final berth, the second seeded Indian team continued its rampaging form at the Women's World Junior Squash Team Championship, beating seventh seeds England 3-0 in its final league match in Chennai on Wednesday.

India are drawn to play fourth seeded Canada in Thursday's quarter-finals.

Victory will pit India against the winner of the other quarter-final match between sixth seeds Hong Kong and eight seeds New Zealand.

In the other last eight stage matches, top seeds Egypt take on third seeds Malaysia and England (seventh seeds) plays United States of America (15th seeds).

In its last league match in the four team Group-B, India had little difficulty in disposing off England though Anaka Alankamony did survive some anxious moments against Julianne Courtice.

After Dipika Pallikal and Surbhi Misra gave India a 2-0 lead, Alankamony defeated Courtice 15-13, 8-11, 14-12, 9-11, 11-7.

Pallikal won against Millie Tomlinson 11-6, 11-5, 11-7, while Misra got past Kimberley Hay 11-9, 11-3, 11-7.
