Pigeons to sing Laloo's praises all over Hindi-landLast time round it was parrots which campaigned for former Bihar chief minister Laloo Prasad Yadav. This year, it will be pigeons that would drop pamphlets and other election material all over Bihar and the adjoining Hindi-speaking states for Chief Minister Rabri Devi's lord and master. Laloo's messengers are 50 in number, have already been 'well trained', and are simply raring to fly with their war-kits -- read leaflets, illuminating the goodness, niceness and greatness of the Rashtriya Janata Dal chief -- into the wide blue yonder over Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, etc. "The pigeons will also circulate 'lantern', the party symbol," RJD cultural cell president Om Mausami said in Jehnabad, where the party's election campaign was launched. Laloo earlier co-inaugurated the campaign with Rabri. After this came the official announcement about his latest -- what else? -- gimmick!
