Four Naxals killed in AP
Four Naxalites, including three belonging to the outlawed People's War Group, were killed in three separate encounters in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the police, two PWG activists were killed in an
encounter at Sangem village in Nalgonda district, while another militant was shot dead in a similar incident at Rachapalem in East
Godavari district.
In the third incident, a Naxalite belonging to the Janasakthi faction was killed
in an encounter at Narayanpur in Karimnagar district.
Meanwhile, the house of a ruling Telugu Desam Party
legislator was blasted, allegedly by PWG members, at Choutapally village in Nizamabad district on Tuesday night.
The legislator, Annapoornamma, who represents Armoor
constituency in the state assembly, was not at home when the incident occurred, the police said.
