Investigating agencies have gathered enough evidence to show that Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist caught alive in the Mumbai terror attack, was part of a criminal conspiracy hatched in Pakistan, Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam has said.

Nikam, appointed a special public prosecutor to handle the 26/11 case, said the chargesheet would be filed in a special court in the next couple of days.

"The agencies have all the evidence required and the chargesheet would be filed in a couple of days," Nikam said on Saturday evening.

Nikam said Kasab's poor and uneducated background led him to be indoctrinated and become part of a terror module. "The concept of religion was wrongly produced before him and he was completely brainwashed," Nikam said.

He said victims of such a brainwash needed systematic handling. Agencies have almost finished mapping the journey of Kasab from Pakistan to Mumbai, Nikam added.

On the media's role during the 26/11 attack, Nikam sought a law that would control audio-visual content in times of crisis.

Kasab, against whom 12 cases have been registered by the Mumbai police, is in custody till February 26. He is under judicial custody in six other cases.
