Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray has literally found himself in a 'legal soup', as he started his day on Thursday by attending various police stations in Mumbai.

Thackeray was released on bail on Wednesday by a Kalyan court in a rioting case and reached home at around 1800 hours after spending 38 hours with the police, including a night in Dombivli's Manpada police lock-up.
The MNS chief reached the Kherwadi police station at around 1030 hours to register attendance following the Bandra metropolitan court's order to attend police station for seven days between 1100 and 1200 hours.
Thereafter, he rushed to Kalyan railway police station for inquiry into the rampage and assault on north Indian candidates, who had come to Mumbai to appear for Railway Board Examination on October 19.
While granting interim relief on Wednesday, Kalyan Metropolitan Magistrate D A Jadhav had directed Thackeray to appear before railway police till Thursday for inquiry into the case.
More than 60 cases have been registered against the MNS chief under verious sections of Indian Penal Code including assault, giving provocative speech or interview to mediapersons and threat.
His battery of lawyers will file the reply on Thursday in the Vikhroli court on the showcause notice issued by the court on Wednesday. The court has asked why his (Thackeray's) bail, granted to him in February this year, should not be cancelled for violating the court's directive, on the state government's plea.
While granting bail on February 13 this year, Magistrate S J Sharma had stated that Raj Thackeray should never in his political career, in capacity of a political leader, breach peace and tranquility in the state.
