With investigators suggesting involvement of some Hindu outfits in cross-border Samjhauta Express train blast, the issue is all set to figure in the Indo-Pak Foreign Ministerial and Home Secretary-level talks next week.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will undertake a four-day visit to India from November 26 for talks
with External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and a day prior to that Home Secretaries of the two countries will meet in Islamabad.

Earlier, investigators had suspected the involvement of Pakistan-based elements in the February 2007 incident and given a photo besides names and phone numbers of the suspects.

Maharashtra's Anti-Terror Squad now claims that a Hindu outfit Abhinav Bharat and its member Lt Col Srikant Purohit, who has been arrested in connection with the Malegaon blasts, could be involved in the attack on the train.

Expecting the Pakistani side to raise the issue, the Indian side will emphasise that the new developments indicate that this country follows "open" investigations, irrespective of who is found involved, sources said.

The blast on the train at Panipat, in which about 60 travellers from India and Pakistan were killed, had created tension between the two countries.
