Jammu shutdown over land transfer to Amarnath Board

Bharatiya Janata Party activists have called for a shutdown in Jammu on Thursday. The shutdown is to express their anguish against the fierce opposition by Kashmiri separatists groups regarding the transfer of forest land to the Amarnath Shrine Board. Hindu protesters burnt tyres in middle of roads and staged demonstrations at various places in the city.
