Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will be in New Delhi in the first week of July to help sort out the differences between the Congress and Left parties on Indo-US nuclear deal.

"I will be going to Delhi in the first week of next month. But no dates has been fixed yet", he said.

He said he was in constant touch with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on the issue.

CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat and CPI national Secretary D Raja had met Karunanidhi on Sunday and requested him to "intervene and intercede" to see whether a solution can be found.

Karunanidhi had told the leaders that the UPA-Left unity should not be disturbed as it would help communal forces.
