The proof of a Pakistan link to the Mumbai terror attack became stronger on Monday, with the Mumbai police saying that all the ten terrorists were from Pakistan.

The Mumbai Anti Terrorist Squad said that as per the details they have managed to obtain from Ajmal Kasab, the only arrested terrorist, and intelligence inputs, it is confirmed that the ten men who had carried out the attack were from Pakistan.

The ATS says that three terrorists were from Multan, three from Okara, one each from Faizabad, Sialkot and Ismail Dera Islam. These men were handpicked by the Lashkar-e-Tayiba to carry out the attack, an investigating officer told rediff.com.

Meanwhile, the ATS continues to grill Kasab for more details on the attack. Kasab has revealed in detail about the training programme of the LeT for this attack. He has been giving details about the camp at which the training was imparted and how the attack was carried out, the official said.

The ATS also says that they will question Kasab on Fahim Ansari, the man who is believed to have facilitated the Mumbai attack by gathering video footage of the targets in Mumbai. Ansari was arrested in connection with the Fidayeen attack at the CRPF camp in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The Mumbai police have sought custody of Ansari and would be questioning him about his role in the attack in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the ATS is also probing the Rahil Sheikh link into the attack. The Mumbai ATS says that Sheikh was well versed with Mumbai and had been responsible for setting up several modules. According to the ATS, Sheikh, the mastermind in the train bombing of Mumbai, may have had knowledge about the 26/11 case.
