The death toll in the boat mishap in Bhatghar reservoir has climbed to 22, police said on Friday.
The strength of the marriage party that met a watery grave on Wednesday night has been put at 31 instead of 28 presumed earlier, police said.
The boat was returning from the other end of the reservoir to village Wakambe in Bhor taluka when a strong wind current reportedly tilted it drowning the passengers in deep waters.
The boat was carrying more people than its capacity, police added.
Fifteen bodies, which included 10 women and four children have so far been fished out and search for remaining victims was on.
Nine persons swam to safety after the boat drowned mid-way.
