Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yashwant Sinha said that he is confident that the transfer of power will take place in Karnataka.
He said his party high command had sent him to Karnataka to ensure that the transfer of power sails through smoothly.
Sinha, who is also in charge of the BJP's affairs in Karnataka, said he would hold talks with Janata Dal-Secular supremo Deve Gowda.
Sinha said Gowda was out of town and hence, he could not meet him yet.
He, however, refused to comment on the formula both the parties planned to work out in the next few days.
Sinha also refused to comment on whether the BJP would compromise on key ministries with the JD-S.
He maintained that he was hopeful that power will be transfered and also added that none should jump to any conclusions until a final decision is arrived at.
On Sriramulu, the controversial minister, he said they were waiting forhim to arrive from Bellary.
He said it would be fair to give him a chance to put out his version. Once we hear him out, we will decide on the next course of action, Sinha said.
