Advani in Nandigram

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Krishna Advani speaks to villagers during his visit to Nandigram on November 13.  Advani is leading a nine-member National Democratic alliance team to the volatile area.

After the visit, Advani said the NDA would arise the issue of violence in Nandigram in Parliament. He said the ruling Communist Party of India-Marxist had "nuked" farmers and charged the United Progressive Alliance government with remaining indifferent to the violence in the trouble-torn area in East Midnapore district.
