India and the United States on Thursday concluded the two-day bilateral talks on ways to meet the global challenges of nuclear proliferation and threat of nuclear terrorism.
Discussions covered a wide range of issues, including global nuclear non-proliferation challenges, export controls and regional and global efforts to prevent proliferation, an External Affairs Ministry spokesman said.
At the two-day talks, the Indian side was led by K C Singh, Additional Secretary (International Organisations) in the External Affairs Ministry while the US delegation was headed by John C Rood, Acting Under Secretary of State for International Security and Non-Proliferation.
During his visit, Rood also called on Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon and Special Envoy of Prime Minister, Shyam Saran.
