Poornima, a student of class VII, recorded her statement in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Ajay Goel on Monday along with two of her friends Pratima and Reena Sarkar saying that she was lucky enough to have escaped the "killer house" of D-5, Noida belonging to accused Moninder Singh Pandher.
In her confessional statement under 164 Criminal Procedure Code, the girl described how Koli had invited her for a lunch that was purportedly to be hosted by him on the Ram Navami day, CBI sources said on Tuesday.
The statements were apparently recorded in a Delhi court as CBI wanted to avoid the media glare and ensure smooth proceedings. Meanwhile, Karandeep Singh Pandher, son of accused Pandher, on Monday moved a petition before the Supreme Court seeking shifting of trial in the case from Ghaziabad court to Delhi.
Besides expressing apprehension about his father's safety in view of attack by a mob when he was produced by the CBI before a Ghaziabad court last month, Karandeep said he was unable to get a lawyer of his choice to defend his father as the local bar had passed a resolution not to take up the case.
In the petition filed through his advocate Sudhir Nandrajog, Karandeep said the atomosphere was not conducive for his father to get fair trial in Ghaziabad.
He also said he has not received any documents from the prosecution in Ghaziabad, thereby disabling him from defending his father.
Pandher, a businessman along with his servant Surinder Koli, has been accused of raping and killing children at his Noida residence.
