The lawyers' team of actor Sanjay Dutt, lodged in Yeravada jail in Pune, arrived at the special Terrorist and Disruptive Activities court in Mumbai on Wednesday with the order of the Supreme Court granting him interim bail.

According to sources, the legal formalities will be completed in an hour and then the release papers will be handed over to his lawyer. Then, the jail authorities will be directed to release Dutt and others.
The SC had on Monday granted Dutt, sentenced to six-year rigorous imprisonment for illegal possession of arms, and five others interim bail until they received the copy of the judgment from the TADA court.
Dutt was convicted under the Arms Act by the special TADA court that conducted the trial in the 1993 serial blasts case for illegal possession of an AK-56 assault rifle and a pistol.
