Four persons were on Friday arrested in connection with the July 11 Mumbai blasts, taking the number of arrests in the case to 14, police sources said.
Police suspect that the four arrested had links with terror outfit Laskar-e-Tayiba. One of them is from Kolkata while the other three hail from Mumbai, the sources said.
Most of the accused arrested in this case are alleged to be LeT operatives and nine of them were trained by Azam Cheema in Pakistan's Bahawalpur district.
The four persons were identified as Mohammed Shafi, Shaikh Mohammed, Mohammed Majid and Abdul Vahiuddin.
They were remanded to police custody till October 13. Although police did not disclose the role played by them in the serial blasts which killed nearly 200 people, sources said it was suspected that they were involved in the conspiracy.
