Two terrorists arrested from Hingalganj on Tuesday have revealed that they were planning to go to Mumbai at the behest of the ISI.

Police, however, are still not sure of the mission behind the Mumbai trip of Mohammed Sohail Afzal (22) and Mohammed Zuber Sanaf (25).

The two confessed that their passports were seized by the ISI in Pakistan and sent to Bangladesh. They sneaked into Bangladesh and were given shelter in Nurpur by a certain Rahim, who trained them in computers and arms. He then helped them to enter India.

It was on this journey that they were arrested at Charalkhali.

The duo said they were supposed to meet a certain Bashir in Kolkata, who was to take them to Mumbai to meet Rashid, who would later instruct them on their mission.

Meanwhile, a team of cops from Mumbai police arrived to interrogate the duo. They were supposed to have collected vital information from them, which has not been disclosed.
