A joint satement issued after two days of talks between External Affairs Minister K Natwar Singh and his Pakistani counterpart Khurshid M Kasuri to review the progress in the composite dialogue process also said that the two sides would hold talks by the 2005 December on activating the bus service between Poonch and Rawalkote in Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

On Sir Creek, they agreed that a joint survey should commence before end of 2005 on delimitation of maritime boundary so that it could be considered at the next round of the composite dialogue, the statement said.
The two sides agreed to hold a meeting of experts in Islamabad on October 25-26 to make the Amritsar-Nankanasaheb bus service operational at an early date.
They decided to hold expert level meeting by the end of 2005 to finalise modalities for setting up of meeting points along the Line of Control for divided families in Jammu and Kashmir, the statement said.
