Extradited gangster Abu Salem can meet as many lawyers he wants in the stipulated one hour every alternate day, as per the directions of the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Court, Central Bureau of Investigation sources said.
They denied that some of his lawyers were not allowed to meet Salem Monday. Defence lawyers O A Siddiqui and Ashok Sarogi met him at the CBI special task force office in south Mumbai.
"We have no restriction on the number of defence lawyers, who might like to meet Salem. On Monday a lawyer who claimed to be Salem's distant nephew also met him," CBI sources said adding, that the lawyer was practicising in the Lucknow court and had come to meet Salem.
