The Central Bureau of Investigation will question Bollywood actress Nagma in connection with her alleged nexus with the underworld.
The agency on Saturday also claimed it had evidence of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's involvement in the gutkha case.
"The name of Nagma figured in the confessional statement of one of the accused arrested by the Mumbai police in connection with the smuggling of gutkha machines to Pakistan. This is for her benefit...she should come out clean and cooperate with the CBI," CBI Director U S Misra told reporters.
He said all the people named by Jumbo, the accused arrested by the Mumbai police, will be questioned by the CBI.
Two gutkha manufacturers -- J M Joshi of Goa Gutkha and Rasiklal Dhariwal of Manikchand Gutkha -- have been accused of seeking underworld's intervention in settling a business dispute.
They have also been accused of helping Dawood's brother, Anees, in setting up a gutkha manufacturing unit in Pakistan.
Misra claimed CBI has evidence that Dhariwal, Joshi, Dawood Ibrahim and Anees Ibrahim "were in touch with each other."
