Social activist and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare's outfit, Bhrashtachar Virodhi Andolan Samiti, will release a list of tainted candidates for the October 13 assembly election in Maharashtra.

"If needed, we will file a PIL against such candidates," he said.
Hazare said he is aware of reports that the former chief minister and Shiv Sena leader Narayan Rane has not mentioned his palatial house in Pali Hill in Mumbai in his affidavit.
"It is up to the voters to decide whom to vote for," Hazare said, adding, "we will tell them about the status of the cases pending against a candidate."
Hazare said only Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Republican Party of India-Athawale leader Ramdas Athawale had responded to letters from the Samiti, urging them not to nominate corrupt candidates.
