Two policemen charged with gang-raping a Muslim woman and killing 14 of her relatives during the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat surrendered to a court on Tuesday, lawyers said.
The sub-inspector and head constable, who surrendered to the Dahod district court, were remanded to judicial custody until May 18. The policemen were the last of 20 people facing charges over the rape and the killings to surrender or be arrested.

On Tuesday, two other accused were released until May 14 on medical grounds, defence lawyer Arvind Pandya said.
The Central Bureau of Investigation took over the case after the alleged rape victim said she was being intimidated by the Gujarat cops.
She said a Hindu mob gang-raped her and killed 14 of her relatives, including two women who they also raped.
