Karnataka Minister for Small Scale Industries Roshan Baig has resigned following allegations of his involvement in the stamp paper scam, official sources said on Sunday.

He submitted his resignation to Chief Minister S M Krishna, the sources said.
The opposition, particularly the Bharatiya Janata Party, had called for his resignation.
Rehan Baig, his brother, had recently surrendered before the Special Investigation Team of Karnataka.
